Our client is searching for an experienced retail Creative Senior Graphic Designer to be based at their Cape Town offices The successful candidate would be one with extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite specifically Photoshop Indesign and Illustrator and one who has experience working with metal products in the retail industry
Key Performance Areas
Digital
Design digital promotional material for retail website social media platforms and the sales department including ecommerce stockists clients
Create presenters and catalogues for sales department
Create and export gifs & animations
Create marketing material for monthly digital remarketing and prospecting campaigns
Print
Design promotional material and stand displays for tradeshows and events
Design promotional material and props for retail stores & malls
Design marketing related print material for retail stores malls tradeshows and magazines
Design of stationery items business cards letterheads etc
Liaise with printers and suppliers regarding quotes
Design and complete product catalogues and presenters
Design collateral for internal events
Photoshoots
Assist in conceptualizing campaign shoots and coordinate with external Art Directors and Stylists
Coordinate plan and brief individuals for photoshoots external photographers and videographers etc
Packaging
Oversee the design of product packaging
Ensure consistency and accuracy in product packaging
Image Library Management & Admin
Brief retouches on retouching requirements for product photography and lifestyle photography
Occasionally retouch product / lifestyle images
Ensure all imagery is being used to full extent across all platforms social media filecamp signage etc
Requirements
Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design
Graphic Design with metal products
Experience within the retail industry
Detail orientated
Driven and able to work towards tight deadlines
Have a good understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite specifically Photoshop inDesign and Illustrator
Able to work under pressure with quick turnaround times
Salary Market related
