Through a mix of sound strategy, breakthrough creative and flawless execution, we create memorable trade show exhibits, live and virtual events, brand activations, retail stores, corporate environments and other immersive experiences that deepen relationships, inspire action, and build trust--and we do it all over the world. **Summary** Versatile in creativity and design, the Creative Lead works collaboratively across the Sparks enterprise as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional solutions for clients. From conceptual development to execution, the role is accountable for the creative and brand design output for client engagements. You'll bring a head-turning approach to projects, both small and large, along with discipline and organisation. You'll lead and own the conceptual ideas, development, quality control and completion of all you and your team's work and will be comfortable taking project briefs from treatment through to final delivery. Proficient in providing design direction, the Creative Lead will support to organise, manage and co-ordinate resources for projects and provide expert guidance and mentoring to team member. This position is a temporary 12-month maternity leave cover and will support our EMEA Creative and Production teams. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office one day a week (typically Wednesdays) at our London location. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Creates presentations and response documents for external proposals, pitches, and tenders. + Produce story boards leading to enriched media presentations for internal and external use in collaborating with account managers and senior management. + Presents concepts and finalised ideas to senior management, clients, and account managers. + Exhibits well-developed creative lead and team qualities and an ability to understand and collaborate across large, diverse project teams, client types and stakeholders from other disciplines such as Creative, Marketing, Growth, Operations and Production. + Brand ambassador for Sparks, ensuring all documents and external facing material are within the company brand guidelines. + Champions best in class design practice, liaise with all other departments to ensure excellent communication lines are established and maintained. + Proof-reading documents to ensure accurate and high-quality work. + To keep abreast of and apply the latest trends and technology. + Estimate the time required to complete the work, develop design briefs that suit the client's purpose and use innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time. + Actively participates in studio crits, discovery sessions, and reviews. + Provides expert guidance, feedback, and mentoring to project team members from concept to completion. + Supports with the co-ordination of resource, delegates workloads, and manages schedules and deadlines. + Oversees and manages the quality and accuracy of the design documentation, visual communication, and storytelling methodology and deliverables. + Recommends creative budgets, respective expenditures, and project scope of work. + Reaches consensus on project deliverables with sales and department managers and other team members. Ensures that the creative team delivers on the agreed upon scope. + Manages mid-weight creatives and artworkers to develop and execute al creative output. + Works in partnership and closely with 2D creatives to evolve and develop creative solutions. **Education & Experience** + Degree in a design field such as graphic design, brand design, events, and/or experiential design + Experience in a creative agency, corporate marketing or design environment + Experience managing projects and project teams + Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and ability to conceptualise creative briefs + Experience in building out branding systems and working closely with environmental creatives + Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously + Solid understanding of various design disciplines to support job to talent alignment + Ability to discover and articulate design objectives and apply design solutions to the project at hand + Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word + Working knowledge of applicable software applications used by a design department such as Adobe, Figma, After Effects (Bonus) + Equivalent experience demonstrated by a strong portfolio showing proven industry leadership **Travel Requirements** Travel up to 25% **What We Offer** Freeman provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
