Join our team and start your journey today! We are seeking an experienced and strategy-driven **Creative Director** to play a critical role in visualizing and communicating Copeland’s brand story. As a key partner, this person will collaborate closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, including marketing, brand, and internal communications, to deliver design solutions that effectively convey complex narratives. The Creative Director will own the creative direction for high-priority initiatives, leveraging internal resources and partnering with external agencies as needed to execute high-impact campaigns. This role is pivotal in ensuring our graphic assets align with Copeland’s global brand strategy and reinforce our presence across markets, with our colleagues, and among broader stakeholders. The Creative Director will be a champion of innovative and compelling storytelling that helps elevate Copeland’s brand identity on a global scale. **As a Creative Director, You Will:** + Develop and execute creative strategies that align with Copeland’s brand objectives and marketing goals. + Translate concepts and develop visually compelling and on-brand marketing materials that align with Copeland’s brand narrative and identity by overseeing and leading our global team of art directors and graphic designers in the creation of dynamic visual content using various channels, including infographics, illustrations, emails, print materials, advertising, social media, website design, mobile apps, videos, animations, trade show/event assets, etc. + Lead concept development, from initial brainstorming through execution, including sketches, storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, and final deliverables. + Manage and mentor a global team of art directors and designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence, to help them reach their full potential. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e., web, email, social, event, and copywriting teams) to deliver on project requirements and objectives. + Develop templates, toolkits, and other approaches enabling local teams to consistently create video, imagery, and other resources. + Maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistent and cohesive visual identity across all digital and print assets. + Simultaneously lead multiple projects from concept to delivery using project management software to allocate resources and meet deadlines. + Oversee relationships with external agencies, graphic design contractors, and other vendors, ensuring they align with project requirements. + Drive the adoption and use of Copeland’s digital asset management system (e.g. Aprimo). + Coordinate and execute all aspects of production, including final design files, for advertising campaigns, social media content, multimedia presentations, and video. + Manage video and photography production from pre- to post-production, overseeing shoots and editing. + Have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate marketing strategies and complex concepts into effective visual communications. **Required Education, Experiences & Skills** + Bachelor’s degree in art, design, or related field + 10+ years of professional experience in art direction or graphic design, with a proven record of creating and leading creative campaigns + Diverse portfolio and in-depth understanding of the creative development process, concept development, color theory, typography, production, and accepted graphic design principles + Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office + Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive + Strong project management skills with the ability to organize a daily workload and prioritize tasks using project management software + Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization + Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing priorities and situations, and manage competing deadlines effectively + Experience working in digital asset management tools + Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role **Preferred Education, Experiences & Skills** + 15+ years of experience in senior-level graphic design and/or art direction roles + Experience in leading a global creative team + Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe After Effects and Premiere + Experience with product and lifestyle photography + Strong understanding and/or previously implemented digital asset management systems and workflows **Flexible Work Schedule – Remote Work Option and Core Hours** This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
