Creative Designer (Print Packaging Experience)

The agency’s latest platform is the industry's first and only end-to-end commerce advisor. We’re looking for a Production Designer to work with a large CPG client. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of designing for print and digital, and adhering to file building standards. Moderately complex design files to vendor specs. **Responsibilities** **Primary Responsibilities:** + Design tactical mockups and presentation to help support and sell-in business-first ideas + Assist in developing brand/campaign design systems and style guides + Inspect and assess working files to assure the correct assets (logos, fonts, colors, images) are available and utilized + Adhere to all agency, vendor and client guidelines and processes for file building and archiving + Keep project files organized and available to creative team members + Handle a workload of multiple projects, including daily administrative tasks like email and time entry + Complete assigned work with efficiency and creative excellence, on deadline + Collaborate with Art Directors and Production Artists to manage the creative process throughout all stages of execution + Continue to grow your craft and skills + Remain current on design trends, best practices, media platforms and competitors + All other duties as assigned by Creative leadership. + Prepare final press-ready files based on the supplied specifications. + Package, preflight and press check files for release to printers or media partners. + Handle assignments with speed, accuracy, efficiency, and make design choices and recommendations based on provided direction. **Qualifications** + Advanced English Level (B2 minimum) + Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, Marketing, Communications or related field + Experience working in Esko Studio (die line to 3d render, plus pack outs) is a definite bonus + A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives and strategies + Passion for problem-solving, commerce, marketing and business + Eagerness to learn, and fail + Ego-less collaborator + Confident in the face of feedback and/or criticism + Highly organized and self-motivated + Knowledgeable of print and digital technology and terminology + Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, GSuite and PowerPoint + Strong design and layout skills + Strong understanding of hierarchy, typography, composition, color, photography and illustration + Strong creative problem-solving skills, as well as time management and prioritization skills + Strong written and communication skills
