Overview Be part of dynamic Saatchi & Saatchi creative department. Our energetic environment grants the opportunity to learn firsthand the ins and outs of the advertising industry while working with a talented group of creatives. The Creative Coordinator is a key part of the department and works closely with the teams, and creative leads to ensure we are resourcing work effectively, submitting accurate and strong awards show submissions, and providing administrative support to the Executive Creative Director. Reporting Relationships: This position reports directly to the Executive Creative Director (ECD) Responsibilities Administrative support: Manage calendar, timesheets, expenses and travel for Executive Creative Director Assist with other creative department administrative tasks as assigned. Partner with Executive Assistant to assist with agency social events as needed. Other responsibilities as assigned. Advertising Award Shows: Submit the Saatchi & Saatchi creative work into various industry award shows, with direction from the ECD Create show entry lists by strategically selecting the appropriate show categories for award worthy work Track of show results & communicate with the ECD Learn/ create internal award show database to store creative assets and show entry/ result information. Work with internal and external production teams to manage the production of case study videos and ensure proper conversion of files Manage payment of show fees, file conversions, print orders, trophy orders etc. Creative Resourcing: Works closely with Account Management to identify staffing needs and with Executive Creative Director to fill those needs. Continually tracks forecasting creative needs, assigning creative resources, and evaluating contributions. Offers solutions to staffing challenges, and works with ECD to resolve Effectively manages and motivates creative teams so they remain focused and meet deliverables. Actively seeks to understand the opinions/needs of others while meeting the needs of the business. Passionate about ideas, brands, the agency, and our client’s business. Demonstrates a strong work ethic, proactive and resourceful, with a dedication to results. Quickly recognizes when something is not working and changes tactics accordingly. Keeps in close contact with Account Management to adjust to changing client needs Comfortable with uncertainty, change, and fast paced environment Comfortably navigates a variety of situations and settings - switches from one task to another with ease. Evaluates each request for creative resources to identify the exact number/type of resources needed to successfully complete assignment. Qualifications College degree / comparable experience Strong administration and project management skills Exceptional communication and writing skills Solid time management and ability to meet tight deadlines Organizational skills and STRONG attention to detail Ability to work with personalities across the agency Team player attitude, strong multi-tasking ability and an eagerness to learn Familiarity with Adobe and Microsoft programs An interest in the advertising industry Resourceful, proactive and able to calmly chase the necessary resources to ensure all happens on time Additional information Saatchi is an equal opportunity employer and we welcome and encourage applications from all interested parties.
