Job Title: Crate Builder

Job Description

This candidate will be fabricating and assembling metal framework of doors and windows for buildings by performing various duties. These include installing hardware such as locks, lock sets, hinging, and storefront aluminum extrusions, as well as developing layouts and planning sequences of operations. The role involves setting up and operating fabricating machines, performing layout and preparing framing, and utilizing tools like brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, radial arm saws, drill presses, mitre saws, and milling machines. The candidate will also saw, hammer, and grind workpieces to cut, bend, and straighten metal, as well as drill holes and fasten materials together with screws. The ability to safely operate basic power tools is essential.

Work Environment

Work will be conducted at a warehouse located in Oshkosh with very minimal travel to install metal door/window frames in the local area. The client will provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
