Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Crane Technician to perform inspections and repairs on overhead cranes and below the hook lifting devices. The ideal candidate will also assist with other production equipment repairs as assigned. This role requires over 1 year of experience as a crane technician and or over 5 years of electrical and mechanical experience.

ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections and repairs on overhead cranes and below the hook lifting devices.Assist with other production equipment repairs as assigned.Diagnose common and uncommon problems through a set of steps to determine the cause of mechanical or electrical breakdowns.Perform mechanical preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs.De-energize equipment and perform electrical diagnostics and repairs.Read ladder logic and perform electrical diagnostics and repairs.Complete other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsOver 1 year of experience as a crane inspector.Over 5 years of electrical and mechanical experience.Experience with 480VAC 3 phase systems.Strong mechanical aptitude.Ability to diagnose mechanical or electrical breakdowns.Forklift experience or ability to learn.Excellent communication and writing skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsCrane inspector certification (highly sought but not required).Experience working both indoors and outdoors.Experience working in a manufacturing environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This is an industrial work environment with numerous production machines. The shop can be noisy and dirty at times. Candidates will be working both inside and outside as required.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
