Course Materials Sales Associate (Wage)
The Course Materials Sales Associate is responsible for assisting in distribution, receiving, returns and inventory of physical textbooks and course materials. This role ensures that students and faculty have timely access to required textbooks and print resources, while also providing support for course materials operations. The ideal candidate will be detail- oriented, organized, and able to work in a face-paced environment, particularly during peak academic seasons.

Duties/Responsibilities

Assist in the receiving, and distribution of physical textbooks and course materials for students and faculty.Manage inventory levels of physical textbooks, performing regular checks and coordinating reorders as necessary.Communicate with publishers and vendors to ensure accurate and timely shipments of textbooks and other materials. Follow up on any backordered books to include communication with Professors about the delay.Coordinate textbook returns on a timely basis.Assist students and faculty with questions regarding physical course materials including availability, pricing and order status.Maintain an organized textbook sales floor ensuring materials are properly labeled and easy to find.Provide exemplary customer service and handle increasingly complex inquiriesIn addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications and Working Conditions:

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.Will require evening and weekend hours during peak academic periods.Must be able to lift up to 35 poundsIn person only position.


Position Compensation: $18.00 Hourly 
 

Anticipated Work Hours - 24-29 Hours/Week

Experience: Four years of experience.
