SUMMARY

The County Market Pricing Clerk duties include but are not limited to providing genuine customer service, assisting the Scanning Coordinator in providing customers with accurate prices and 100% scanability, gaining product knowledge and working in a safe manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfactionAssist the Scanning Coordinator with the followingPerform implementation of price changes for warehouse and DSD itemsCommunicate and resolve price discrepanciesMakes and enters changes in computer systemsVerifies prices on an ongoing basis through the weekly verification routineAssists in weekly adSign making for all departmentsAssist in maintaining an accurate deal card systemAssists with in-store promotionsAssists Perishable Departments pricing issuesWorks within company programs. polisies and procedursFollows all store and department policies and proceduresFollows safety policies and procedures; is a safety role modelOther duties as assigned by supervisor

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED);One to three months related experience and/or training;Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or Associates of organization.
