Job DescriptionPerform strategic and tactical purchasing activities in a group of assigned indirect materials & services, with the objective to establish optimum total cost of ownershipLead and drive tender or request for proposalConduct thorough analysis and management of contractual agreements to prepare for renegotiations or subsequent negotiations, initiate necessary measures, and ensure the continuity of supplies.Conduct supplier selection, establish criteria, and prepare decisions for the requesting departments to ensure a defined and documented sourcing process.Supplier management to gain the best suppliers and guarantee an optimum supply chainAlign with purchasing process methods & tools and ensure compliance of global and country policies as well as category managementCollaborate with cross-country to lead & drive strategy on assigned categoriesResponsible for assigned categories for Singapore and Thailand

QualificationsBachelor degree in Purchasing/Supply Chain or related fieldsMM Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office toolsAt least 2 years of relevant experience in category management of Engineering Services, R&D Equipment (jigs and fixtures), External Engineering Test ServicesExcellent negotiation skills and a proven track record in cost reductionTeam player with proven influencing and collaboration skills to work effectively across functionsGood interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different levels of peopleBilingual in English & Mandarin to liaise with Asia and Europe offices will be an advantage
