Job Description

Are you passionate about fostering a culture of continuous learning and development? Join us as a Country Learning & Development Partner in Mauritius!

In this role, you will collaborate with the local People & Culture team and align with the wider Rank Interactive People & Culture strategy to address the learning needs and ambitions of our business teams. You will champion, design, and deliver training, learning, and organisational development initiatives that are both locally and globally created, ensuring they are adaptive, business-relevant, and future-focused.

As a key partner to managers and their teams, you will build a deep understanding of business areas, strategies, goals, challenges, and capability gaps to provide impactful learning solutions. You will adopt innovative delivery methods, from in-person and virtual training to cutting-edge digital platforms, ensuring the delivery of the Group learning strategy in tandem with locally tailored initiatives under the guidance of the Interactive L&D Business Partner.

Your main responsibilities will include advocating and enabling best-in-class training, learning, and development initiatives to drive high-performing organizations, teams, and individuals. You will deliver a combination of centrally curated Rank core modules and locally designed collateral, support the creation and continuous improvement of colleague career pathways, and proactively engage with and coach management, leadership, and team members to realise the full benefits of learning.

Additionally, you will set up an accredited Capability Academy, oversee professional development offerings, and manage the HRDC refund process. You will collaborate with the L&D Group function to constantly review our learning content and offerings, recommend solutions, and create content that meets business and learning needs.

QualificationsExperience of reviewing business learning requirements and successfully implementing recommendationsExperience of working in customer service, technology, gaming or hospitalityExperience in setting up Training Academy and the Mauritius Quality Assurance and HRDC body for course accreditation and refundExperience designing graduate programs, internships and skills gap offeringsExcellent influencing and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externally.Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skillsStrong coaching/mentoring skillsEffective planning and project management skills with the ability to set and work to deadlines.Understanding of the latest thinking in learning and particularly the technologies used to deliver learning effectively is desirableAbility to manage and develop others is essentialThe ability to execute on projects; able to make proposals and  solutions to improve people and business  capabilitiesExcellent problem-solving skills – be solution drivenDegree, CIPD or CTP qualified, or equivalent with a focus on learning and development.Analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and understand data and information and to use creative thinking to find solutions to problems.Experience of identifying skills gaps and developing learning solutions.Ability to translate OD knowledge into actions and to use knowledge to anticipate business requirements.
