This Country lead UK&I role will oversee and inspire a workforce with direct sales, business development and pre-sales teams in United Kingdom and Ireland. The total annual revenue responsibility for this position is $60 Million USD.

The Country lead UKI will play a vital role in supporting the General Manager UKI, Spain and Italy to drive profitable revenue growth. They will have the autonomy to drive goals and objectives, measure and monitor performance, and critically contribute to a holistic strategic and business planning process. They will drive results through exceptional leadership skills, consistently championing and supporting a culture of continuous improvement, with an eye on reaching optimum performance on an individual and team basis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

P&L responsibility for United Kingdom and IrelandBuild a sustainable best-in-class commercial process (specially funnel management), metrics, and compensation programs to effectively drive these functions. Take commercial decisions with regards to pricing, bids and tendersOwn of customer segmentation. Which part of the market to play in.Develop annual budgets based on achieving above-market growth by product line and geography. Deliver budgeted performance.Interface with European support function teams including Service, PMO, Sales Enablement & Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, IT, and Finance.Continuously drive Voice of the Customer (VOC) back into all parts of the business to ensure customers’ interests are prominently positioned.Represent the organization in customer negotiations, trade shows, seminars, conferences, and other official occasions. The essential requirements of the job include:

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, with an MBA or equivalent, a business experience of minimum 5 years of experience in driving Country Sales Organizations and should be fluent in English.Successfully managed a fast-growing large sales organization. Experience in participating and winning NHS tenders.Proven successful record in sales leadership and staff management, while functioning in a demanding, action-oriented environment.Must have proven credentials of building and leading a results-focused high-performance team.Demonstrated willingness to attract, hire, and retain the highest quality talent, including hiring above the incumbent’s competencies where appropriate.Skilled in influencing and negotiating with stakeholders at multiple levels in a matrix environment to achieve common goals. Substantial experience within a complex selling organization in a high technology and medical product/service sector.Communication: Strong communication skills to articulate vision, strategy, and objectives clearly and effectively across the matrix organizationOrganizational Agility: Ability to navigate complex organizational structures, understanding and adapting to the different layers of decision-making.
