Your role and responsibilities

Purpose of the Job: Join us as a Country Governance Junior Specialist and play a pivotal role in supporting our Country Holder Officer (CHO) and Country Finance Officer (CFM) in uphold-ing the highest standards of governance, internal controls, integrity, and compliance. You will be instrumental in executing an ambitious plan to enhance corporate governance and operational adherence to ABB’s Licence-to-operate. We focus on skillset and mindset: Join us and make a difference!Main Accountabilities:Fiduciary and compliance: o\tSupport CHO with Country Fiduciary Governance Frameworko\tSupport Fiduciary monitoring at country levelo\tInspect control points and country level controls with the support from country ARIC managero\tEdit and contribute to the publication of the CHO NewsLetterProject Based Initiatives:o\tSupport PMO to set up the project governance framework in countryo\tWork closely with country and business area’s function leads to set-up relevant country activi-ties, report on the status and the next actionsFinancial Planning and Analysis:o\tCoordinate Country Holding Officer cost centers analysis, planning and forecastingo\tCoordinate regular statutory financial statements reviews with relevant stakeholderso\tFacilitate budgeting and forecasting process by communicating guidelines, timetables and templatesTravel & Expenses Point of Contacto\tServe as the local point of contact for Travel & Expenses tools and service provider, including fleet management and other related administrative tasks.

Qualifications for the role

\tProfessional Experience: 3-5 years of prior experience or exposure in fiduciary ser-vices, Big4 audit firm, or risk management. Experience with a leading audit firm (Tier 1 or Tier 2) is advantageous.\tTechnical Expertise: Strong understanding of understanding of compliance, internal controls, fiduciary laws and principles, as well as Integrity and Business ethics.\tTechnical Skills: Proficiency in SAP ERP systems, MS PowerPoint, PowerBI, SAP HANA, and advanced Excel skills.\tDiligence: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.\tAdaptability: Demonstrated resilience and ability to thrive in a dynamic, demanding environment, handling ambiguity and pressure with ease.\tInitiative-taking Planning: Ability to anticipate needs, prioritize tasks, and plan activi-ties efficiently.\tCommunication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Japanese, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.\tTeam Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders, demonstrating strong teamwork skills.
