Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program required. Licensure: Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state where services will be provided. State licensure must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment. Certifications: CPR certification required within the first 90 days of employment. Must maintain all certifications and licensure according to expiration dates. Membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association is preferred. Driving Requirements: If assigned to drive a company vehicle, a valid driver’s license is required. If using a personal vehicle, proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license are required. Experience: Work experience is preferred but not required, beyond clinical experience gained during the educational program. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds, and may be required to push/pull up to 300 pounds. Additional Requirements: Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned.
