Your role and responsibilitiesMissionWork with the sales department to expand PPA business in the automotive, Tier 1, and general industrial segments, and test coating equipment to demonstrate value.Verify the system coordination process to ensure that it runs smoothly, which the CS group will be involved in.Maintain good cooperation and relationship with the development and PDP teams to help develop better products.Organizational Attribution and Key Relationships\tLead all coating testing (verification) in Japan.\tCollaborate with global Labs.\tCollaborate with PDP, CS and Sales teams in Japan.\tRole1. Market analysis and proposal of competitive systems- Identify new market and segment demand for the paint business and propose systems utilizing applications (technologies).- Provide market requirements to the development department and propose the development of applications (technologies).- Support the activities of the sales team in line with the Automotive's mid-term business strategy. 2. Marketing and sales support- Work with the sales team to develop new markets and segments utilizing our products.Verify system solutions that meet customer requirements and play an active role in order acquisition.- Provide ongoing consulting to PPA's sales and technical teams to expand new business.3. Customer relations- Understand customer requirements, review and validate optimal specifications, and propose ABB's automation systems.4. sales support and review- Support the sales team by reviewing status and proposing appropriate specifications.5. risk management- Communicate risk information to the sales and engineering teams to avoid risk.6. verification and proposal- In cooperation with the sales and technical teams, conduct verification requested by the customer.Demonstrate the performance of ABB's coating equipment to customers through verification tests and confirm that ABB's proposals are appropriate.7. Collaboration with the development team- Provide feedback to the development team on the results of verification tests related to new products and contribute to the development of better products.
Qualifications for the roleMinimum of a technical college degree 2+ years of painting experience (with proven track record)Work experience in automotive OEM and Tier 1 (preferred)Understanding of automotive production process knowledge ( preferred).Knowledge of painting and coatings (preferred)Understanding of ABB paint equipmentFluent in English ( preferred)
