Cost Analyst | Budget Analyst
**Job Title:** **Cost Analyst** **Work Schedule:** **Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM** **Location:** **New Albany, OH** – No relocation candidates considered **Work Arrangement:** **On-Site** **Sponsorship:** **Not C2C eligible. This role is open to US Citizens or GC Holders** **Compensation:** **$39hr** We're seeking two Project Cost Analysts to join our EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) team. Candidates must demonstrate a well-rounded background in budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and basic accounting. The ideal candidates will be strong communicators with a collaborative mindset and the ability to handle multiple priorities. **Responsibilities** + Support Project Managers by tracking and analyzing budgets and forecasts across multiple EPC projects + Input and manage project budgets in AEP’s corporate systems + Perform variance analyses, cash flow tracking, and forecast updates + Create work orders and coordinate with contractors/vendors to ensure budget alignment + Assist in Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) reporting, KPI tracking, and long-term financial planning + Coordinate and attend project meetings; update project documentation + Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on cost-related deliverables + Contribute to work order creation, in-servicing, and close-out processes + Potential involvement in bidding activities and vendor contracting + Ensure compliance with AEP project governance and cost control standards **Requirements** **Education & Experience:** + Associate degree + 1-3 years of qualified experience OR Bachelor’s with 1 year experience + Qualified fields: Business, Construction Management, Project Management **Skills & Tools:** + Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills + Knowledge of cost analysis, project forecasting, budgeting, and accounting principles + Exposure to utility operations and project systems is preferred + Experience with Earned Value Management or project scheduling systems is a plus ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
