Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Operational Support Engineer II at our Cortez operations. This position will maintain and validate reports to track operational performance and present insights for ongoing projects.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate across the site to consolidate and present daily, weekly, and monthly reporting data. Maintain and validate reports to track operational performance and present insights for ongoing projects. Facilitate preparation and presentation of reports for forecast and budget review meetings, ensuring timely and accurate data submission. Facilitate review of forecasts, budgets, and operational performance. Track actions and progress towards completion. Organize and facilitate continuous improvement workshops in collaboration with various operating divisions. Work with teams to identify opportunities for optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements. Follow up on the progress of improvement initiatives, ensuring timely completion and implementation. Serve as the primary point of contact between the site and external stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, for site visits and inspections. Coordinate logistics for external stakeholder visits, ensuring all requirements are met for successful engagements. Assist in creating presentations and documentation to support site visits and tours. Provide technical and operational support to various departments, helping troubleshoot issues and optimize performance. Collaborate with department managers to understand ongoing challenges and work toward practical solutions. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations across all initiatives and projects. Ensure that all reports, presentations, and documentation are up to date, accurate, and distributed to relevant stakeholders. Maintain records of continuous improvement initiatives, budget review outcomes, and external stakeholder interactions for future reference and audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field required 3-5 years of experience in an operations, engineering, or continuous improvement role preferred Strong analytical skills with experience in data consolidation and reporting required Experience facilitating cross-functional meetings and continuous improvement workshops preferred Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels required Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines required Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis required Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other reporting tools preferred Experience in liaising with external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies preferred
