Amergis Staffing is currently seeking experienced and qualified Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for a correctional facility in the Burgaw, NC area. The details for these positions are as follows:

Position Description: The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards.
Shift/Schedule: Nights 5:30p -6:00a; 36/48 every other weekend 13 week contract with 13 week extensions  Every other weekend required

Minimum Requirements:

Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred Current CPR if applicable TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable  Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)  Must meet all federal, state and local requirements  Must be at least 18 years of age
