Amergis Staffing is currently seeking experienced and qualified Registered Nurses (RN) for a correctional facility in the Laurinburg, NC area. The details for these positions are as follows:

Position Description: The Correctional RN works in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensure the well-being of the incarcerated population. The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specific challenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing care to their patient population.  This care includes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facility setting. 
Shift/Schedule: Days 05:45a-6:15p; 36/48 every other weekend Nights 5:45p -6:15a; 36/48 every other weekend 13 week contract with 13 week extensions  Every other weekend required

Minimum Requirements: Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred Current CPR if applicable TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable    Must meet all federal, state and local requirements    Must be at least 18 years of age
