Job Description
The Operations Analyst will be responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis to assist in the development and implementation of effective business strategies. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement, develop recommendations to optimize business processes, and ensure the organization is meeting its goals and objectives. This position is within the Strategic & Corporate Services team, which performs a variety of duties not specifically tied to another department. The role requires the ability to perform technical work while also being able to communicate information effectively to others.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and monitor operational budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and goals are met.Communicate findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.Review corporate documents and communications to ensure a consistent message across the organization.Work closely with department teams, including Human Resources, Information Technology, and Corporate Services.Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards.Coordinate business continuity exercises and drills, analyze outcomes, and recommend improvements.Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify critical business functions and develop strategies to ensure their continuity during disruptions.Work with key stakeholders to identify areas of business risk and prioritize efforts.Essential SkillsProficient in data analysis and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.4+ years experience analyzing operations, data, or related fields within an organization.Ability to perform technical work and communicate it effectively to others.Experience in smaller organizations or government settings, with the ability to 'wear many hats'.Self-starter with the ability to work independently.Curious and eager to learn more.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with regression analysis is a big plus.Master's degree is a plus.Experience in crisis management.Ability to communicate with internal partners in a professional manner.Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead cross-functional teams.Ability to think through hypothetical situations and concepts to identify risks and weaknesses in various business processes.Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.Work Environment
The work environment is a corporate office located in Harrisburg, with a parking garage attached to the building. The company offers remote work on Mondays and Fridays and pays 100% of premiums for employees and their dependents for medical, vision, prescription, HRA, dental, and orthodontic coverage. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00
