What We’re Looking For:

A visionary and creative Corporate Manager of F&B Retail Merchandising who will orchestrate the perfect blend of visual storytelling, product innovation, and customer delight for Loews Hotels’ Grab & Go food and beverage outlets. As the ultimate bridge between sourcing, operations, and marketing, you'll spearhead the merchandising strategy that keeps our offerings fresh, exciting, and ahead of the curve.

In this role, you'll collaborate with the SVP, F&B and Design to curate bold and inspiring product lines, manage a dynamic merchandising calendar, and craft experiences that captivate and satisfy every guest. From ensuring our outlets are a feast for the eyes to championing new trends in food and beverage retail, you’ll be at the forefront of defining what Grab & Go means for Loews Hotels.

What You’ll Do:

Merchandising & Product Sourcing

Partner with the SVP, Food & Beverage and Design to develop and curate new product assortments based on trend forecasting, customer insights, and whitespace opportunities.

Develop and present an overall product assortment for each season.

Own the assortment planning process across key categories, with a clear understanding of SKU productivity and lifecycle management.

Supervise product sourcing process to ensure that the merchandise consistently appeals to the customer's needs.

Manage and maintain seasonal merchandising calendar, ensuring alignment across design, sourcing, content, and marketing.

Shelf and merchandising design; create planograms to replenish and straighten up merchandise displays.

Maintain an eye for aesthetic cohesion, storytelling, and brand voice.

Merchandise product from shipments for F&B Grab & Go outlets.

Implement retail schematics and merchandising materials as assigned.

Carry out in-store visits according to Loews Hotels’ merchandising steps and brand standards.

Remove damaged and discontinued merchandise from the display.

Develop customer intimacy through regular store visits and competitive shopping; apply findings with the F&B operations team.

Help store managers to maintain inventory by ensuring service and merchandise availability.

Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.

Communicate effectively with store personnel regarding tasks, sales activities, promotions, and client/sales plan objectives.

Formulate pricing strategies through merchandising reviews, observing additional sales promotions, approval for clearance sales, and trend research.

Communicate with company management to recommend business opportunities and ways to increase sales and optimize profit.

Partner with F&B operations and stay current on trends in the F&B Grab & Go market space. Bring customer and market perspective to the product sourcing process.

Collaborate with sourcing staff to meet costing targets on all products developed seasonally.

Marketing & Brand Support

Support seasonal go-to-market plans with product briefs and launch timelines.

Partner cross-functionally with marketing to contribute to campaign planning and product storytelling across digital and social platforms.

Assist in analyzing product performance and customer feedback to inform future development and merchandising strategies.

Establish marketing strategy changes through departmental, operational, and financial reviews.

Identify content needs to support new product launches (e.g., photography, styling notes, product descriptions).

Other responsibilities

Preserve the livelihood and reputation of F&B retail outlets by complying with legal policies and requirements.

Attend meetings and make presentations as needed.

Travel to hotels/locations to manage projects, meet with vendors, meeting property management teams, etc.

Required to attend/complete all mandatory training sessions and meetings.

Regular attendance in conformance with standards.

May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.

Regularly lift 40 pounds, reach, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and walk.

Push/pull a product cart.

Stand for several hours at a time.

Your Experience Includes:

Bachelor’s degree in Retail Merchandising, Hospitality Management, Creative Arts, or relevant field preferred.

3-5 years of previous merchandising experience in F&B grab-and-go shops/retail outlets required.

Understanding of display techniques and how to create engaging presentations required.

Experience in monitoring inventory, achieving sales targets, and managing budgets.

Understanding of sales techniques, product knowledge, and consumer behavior is crucial.

Ability to address issues such as inventory shortages or display problems efficiently.

Proficient computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, Project and PowerPoint).

Strong Communication, interpersonal, and time management skills, with a collaborative mind-set.

Knowledge of sustainability practices.

Willingness and ability to travel approximately 15% of the time.
