Corporate Events Manager Were a thriving team passionate about working together to deliver excellence, all in a natural forest environment.Welcome to Center Parcsthe number one choice for short break holidays, employing a team of over 10,000 across six separate villages located in the UK and Ireland.CORPORATE EVENTS MANAGERCirca 46,500 per annum + 12% BonusReporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for managing the coordination and delivery of all corporate events. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to provide the highest levels of guest satisfaction, whilst achieving financial, people and service KPIs.The day-to-day shall include; management of budget / payroll costs, supporting the outbound sales team with onsite visits, managing client expectations and requests, general welfare, motivation and development of events staff, analysis of data and compilation of statistics / reports and any other duties that may be required.HOURS OF WORKYou will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis(40 hours per week). This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.ABOUT YOUEssential requirements:Experience managing the sales and operational function within a busy corporate event venueExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently with an organised and methodical approachGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience of using a booking management systemFinancially astuteFlexible and adaptableHave a motivational approach towards colleagues and workDesirable requirements:Event Management / Hospitality Qualification BTECH / Diploma / DegreeFood Hygiene QualificationsMenu / Wine working knowledgeABOUT THE BENEFITSCenter Parcs is a fantastic place to work and the benefits are as impressive as they are unique.
