About you and this role Dowhas an exciting opportunity for aCorporate Director of Inclusion! The preference would be to have this position located at a major Dow U.S. location, however other major Dow locations globally can be considered. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving the next evolution of Dow’s culture transformation and global inclusion, diversity, and equity (ID&E) strategy. You will lead the development and implementation of innovative and impactful ID&E programs that align with the company’s ambition and business objectives. You will partner closely with the Chief Inclusion Officer to provide ID&E thought leadership across the enterprise and will also be a key strategic partner with senior leaders to further embed ID&E into Dow’s culture and operations for business success. Responsibilities + Co-lead the development and implementation of the next generation of Dow’s enterprise ID&E strategy. + Provide strategic direction and leadership to the global Office of Inclusion team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. + Leverage internal data and external benchmarking to identify opportunities and prioritize key areas of focus. + Ensure alignment of the ID&E strategic actions with the company’s goals and business objectives. + Use data, insights, and analytics to articulate Dow’s ID&E progress/impact and drive continuous improvement. + Serve as a coach/consultant on the activation of ID&E across the businesses and functions. + Engage with employees at all levels to build awareness and understanding of ID&E principles and practices. + Facilitate quarterly Senior Leader Inclusion Council meetings and ensure alignment of messaging and actions across Dow’s full ID&E governance structure. + Support the preparation of strategic materials for presentation to Dow’s Leadership Team and Board of Directors. + Provide first level of oversight and direction for Dow’s signature ID&E events (e.g. EMERGE All-ERG Conference, SOAR Inclusion Summit at The Dow Championship, etc). + Partner with OOI team members and key internal stakeholders to drive positive talent, reputation, community, and business outcomes related to ID&E (e,g, HR, Public Affairs, Government Affairs, Legal, Purchasing). + Serve as internal ID&E subject matter expert and representative on key enterprise teams. + Build and maintain a strong external professional network with industry, value chain, community and ID&E partner organizations. + Stay abreast of external ID&E trends/best practices/research and aware of legal/ legislative/social trends around the world that might inform Dow’s actions. + Represent Dow externally via ID&E boards, advisory panels, conferences, and roundtable events. Qualifications + A minimum of a bachelor's degreeor relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking. + A minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience. + Experience leading ID&E programs in any capacity. + Must be willing and able to travel up to 30% of the time domestically and internationally. + For U.S. Applicants:A minimum requirement for this US-based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. Preferred Skills + Have a proven track-record of developing and implementing a global strategy and delivering results with enterprise impact. + Have experience leading inclusion, diversity, and equity programming (including, but not limited to, work with ERGs). + Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and measure impact. + Have excellent communication and presentation skills. + Have a bias for action and be energized by collaborating on a fast-paced team. + Be highly collaborative, with ability to work in partnership with multiple stakeholders. + Have the willingness to appropriately challenge the status quo and lead change + Have broad understanding of global inclusion, diversity, and equity trends, challenges, and best practices. + Have the ability to communicate with confidence, clarity, and empathy. + Have the ability to pivot quickly and operate in ambiguity. + Have a high level of cultural competence and cultural agility. + Be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
