Corporate Development Analyst
Summary The Corporate Development Analyst actively participates in the mergers and acquisitions process and has responsibility for driving acquisitions and other similar transaction projects forward. This role will report to the Vice President of Corporate Development and will work closely with business units and executive leadership. Responsibilities Responsible for preparing financial and operational proformas for new acquisitions or partnership. Works with home managers to test assumptions used in the proformas. Assist with due diligence collection, coordination and discovery calls with sellers. Responsible for the coordination and uploading of documents into the Business Development Team Room. Assist with the completion of assigned Corporate Development spreadsheets. Assist with updating Corporate Development records in M&A databases. Copy records, policies and other pertinent documents and distribute copies as directed. Edits and publishes LHC pipeline for weekly meetings with internal stakeholders and UHG M&A team. Presents pipeline updates to internal stakeholders on Monday meeting with oversight from Director. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor. Education and Experience Formal Education: Bachelor's Degree Experience: 3 years Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or other relevant experience 1-3 years of experience in a corporate M&A or finance environment, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, public accounting or another financial investment institution Exposure to integrated financial modeling and valuation Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Must have strong quantitative and analytical skills Company Overview LHC Group is committed to a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer.
