Corporate Counsel - Partnership, Alliances & Co-Branding
Under the guidance of a Vice President – Associate General Counsel, the individual in this role will provide legal counsel and support to teams within the Global Commercial & Marketing organizations. Primary responsibility will be providing counsel regarding IHG’s global Partnerships and Alliances, including the continued roll-out of IHG’s international co-branded credit card program and IHG’s sponsorship goals (sports, events and charities). Other responsibilities shall include negotiating the commercial teams’ software as a service and other vendor agreements, global sales agreements, sweepstakes and contests, and other areas of marketing. The role may also include marketing related governance and compliance, support of the data and analytics team, loyalty, digital displays and promotions and engagement in complex legal assignments that have been prioritized by the Business Reputation and Responsibility (BRR) leadership. **Your day to day** + Draft, negotiate, and review and/or modify contracts to meet company standards and objectives + Coordinate with business teams to prioritize matters requiring legal review, based on corporate strategic objectives. + Manage and work with outside counsel and other external resources if appropriate, to ensure the company is represented in a cost efficient and effective manner **What we need from you** + Bachelor's Degree and a Juris Doctor Degree. Member of the Georgia State Bar in good standing. + Demonstrated analytical, research, and presentation skills, with ability to speak extemporaneously. + Demonstrated ability to draft a variety of legal documents. + Demonstrated experience in leading, advising and developing people. + Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients, outside counsel, vendors and other third parties, senior management and staff. **Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in the Atlanta office. This expectation many be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.** **The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $190,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay.
