Amazon's legal department is looking for a smart, talented and highly motivated customs and international trade attorney looking to make an impact at an innovative company. Among other things, you will be the main point of contact for the Global Logistics team's customs compliance and regulatory legal work. While this role will primarily be focused on customs issues, there will be significant opportunities to expand scope to new areas and advise on a wide range of legal and business risks and opportunities.

- Providing day-to-day and strategic advice regarding complex customs compliance and regulatory issues
- Working with outside counsel to manage disputes or research customs issues
- Conducting risk assessments and developing strategies to mitigate legal exposure
- Developing strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways
- Building processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly
- Some travel, domestic and international, may be required
