Your mission:The Financial Controller/Tax Manager is a key contributor to the financial reporting needs of Mondi Paper Bags Americas region (5 US, 3 Mexico and 1 Colombian manufacturing site).Manage financial month-end close process for Paper Bags Americas (estimate, forecast, actuals, statistics)Support Paper Bags Operating Committee with monthly results reporting and analysisPrepare short term and midterm forecast (Outlook) and budgets for Paper Bags Americas HQManage Outlook and Budget process for Paper Bags AmericasPrepare actual/ budget comparisons and analyze figures to drive improvements in the plantsCost Center Accounting for Paper Bags Americas Headquarters location in Romeoville, ILShared service cost allocation preparationOn-site margin and cost analysis with plant financial controllersAd hoc projects for management, including margin/cost improvementSupport and cooperation with Accounting Manager HQ regarding accounts reconciliationsManage internal and external audits.Secure overall data quality - financial and operationalYour Profile:Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance or another applicable field.  CPA preferred.5-7 years of experience in Finance/Accounting in ManufacturingGeneral accounting and reporting (US GAAP, IFRS) understanding Full command within the disciplines of modern controlling (project controlling and general financial controlling)Broad and generalist know-how within finance & controllingPresentation and report writing skillsProficient in Microsoft Suite with a strong focus in Excel SAP experience preferredHigh standard of ethics and integrity Project Management experience is a plusPost bank entries, book interest/recharges from treasury statements and run outstanding check registerManage the overall tax process for Bondi Bags USA LLC. Manage relationship with Group Tax, Group Treasury and external bank.  Previous project management experience is advantageousStrong understanding of business processesStrong ability to conduct research, analyze data and resolve complex problemsExcellent verbal and written communication and relationship building skillsStrong organizational and project management skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a team with a positive attitudeHigh attention to detail and accountability in analytical assessments.  In addition to the aptitude to maintain a big picture perspective Effective skills to build relationships and productively interface with all levels of the business.We offer:Competitve health benefits 401k Become part of a successful multicultural companyExcellent possibilities of further developmentWiden experience and professional know howOpportunities to work internationally.  Benefits: Mobile phone for employees Health benefits Get in touch:
