The Senior Manager Corporate Affairs is the heartbeat of TAPI's public image in Mexico. This dynamic professional is a master strategist, responsible for crafting and implementing policies that enhance relationships with the community, public, government, and shareholders. They ensure TAPI's voice is heard loud and clear, acting as the bridge between the organization and the media. This role involves skillfully coordinating media relations and devising compelling external communication strategies.

How you’ll spend your day

Policy & Regulatory Research: Research support on various regulatory and policy matters such as upcoming policies, new regulations and notifications.
Partnering with Sites & BU leads: Support the unit local teams on projects, government communications, monthly reports, trackers, strategy documents, briefing books etc. Tracks the industry behaviours and trends.
Engagement with External stakeholder and Industry Associations: Ensuring positive external stakeholder engagement on relevant business matters and regular engagement with Industry Associations, such as: CANIFARMA, ANIQ, COFEPRIS, SECRETARÍA DE SALUD (Health Department), among others.
Community Development Programs & Corporate Social Responsibilities: Identifying the initiatives for community development as part of the overall strategy and within the purview of the applicable laws and norms

Your experience and qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Researches, develops, plans, designs, maintains and implements policies and programs that enhance the organization's relations with the community, the public, government and regulatory authorities, and shareholders. 
Coordinates media relations and prepares strategy for external and internal communications. 
Plans, prepares and relays information concerning the organization to the press and government authorities to gain understanding and acceptance for the organization. 
Develops and maintains healthy relations with government authorities, lawmaker, media, community influencers and other external audience groups.

Education:

A must Masters in Mass Communication,  Business Administration, Economics or any other similar Master Degree.
Proficiency user level for computers
Kwnoledege in the usage of technology platforms of various Government related portals.
/ Formal education (Bachelor’s) in communication will be preferred

Experience:

Incumbent to have at least 7 years of experience in Corporate Affair and at least 5 years at senior level liasoning experience.
Strong background of policy research
Technical knowledge of developing and handling COE/ CSR project management
Good with communication. Executive Presence. 
Impact & influence | Stakeholder management.

Language:
Must have: advance English and Spanish, any third language is desirable.
