Corporate Accounting Intern

Summary: 

Put your classroom studies into practice in the real world and gain the experience to help determine your journey after graduation. At GAF, we’ll make sure you get going on your very first day with a comprehensive orientation into our company. In our program you will have the opportunity to own your own projects, participate in meetings, and work cross-functionally with other departments. 

GAF is looking for a General Accounting Intern. The ideal candidate for this role is majoring in Accounting. The intern would be responsible for working with and supporting the general accounting team with day to day functions.

Essential Duties: 

General Accounting Functions (data analysis, posting journal entries)

Provide support during the monthly close process

PeopleSoft Functions (running queries, ledgers, processes and controls)

Heavy use of Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)

Ad-hoc projects

Assist with answering inquiries from other departments

 The successful candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and an anticipated graduation date between December 2024 and May 2026.
