Our client is looking for a Corporate Accountant on a 4 month temporary contract who will be responsible for maintaining full cycle accounting records and regulatory filings for various legal entities and holding companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accounting records, general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.Collaborate with reporting units to resolve accounting issues and ensure compliance with group policies.Produce consolidated monthly and ad-hoc financial reports.Oversee accounts payable and intercompany billings.Assist in the consolidation process and prepare financial statement disclosures.Prepare quarterly sales tax returns and perform self-assessments.Coordinate with auditors to resolve audit issues and ensure compliance.Assist in the annual budget process.Handle additional projects as required.

Must Have:

Proficient with IFRS.CPA (1+ years post designation) or equivalent 3-5 years experience in a multi-entity, multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction organization.SAP S/4Hana experience.Industry experience in mining, forestry, oil/gas, or construction.Strong communication skills for engaging with executives.

Nice to Have:

Experience with process automation and ERP implementation.Spanish language skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.86 - $45.67/hr.
