Summary:
Responsible for creating methodologies and strategies for turning customer data into actionable information. Identify net revenue growth opportunities across multiple functional areas (i.e., promotions, direct marketing, hotel, food & beverage, etc.). Attend regular development meetings with property executives to improve performance and increase net revenue goals. Responsible for remaining up to do date on industry trends and has a clear understanding of opportunities within the industry. Supports creation of ad-hoc queries using Transact SQL (T-SQL) and the creation of report solutions using SQL Reporting Services (SSRS), SAS Visual Analytics / VIYA, Tableau, and OLAP cubes.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Provide data-driven recommendations to corporate marketing and property executives Develop methodologies and processes for turning customer transaction data into actionable information to be utilized by properties and corporate marketing teams Leverage data technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, R, or cloud-based platforms) to collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Develop and implement advanced statistical models (e.g., regression analysis, time-series forecasting, machine learning algorithms) to predict customer behavior and optimize business decisions. Apply theory to business operations and develops hypotheses specific to business problems and solutions Act as direct contributor to solution implementation discussions with business owners, particularly at the strategic operations level Attend regular development meetings with property executives to review recommendations for improving performance and increasing net revenue goals of multiple functional areas (i.e., promotions, special events, direct marketing, hotel, food & beverage, etc.) Enhance business development meetings by providing a fair statistically-based assessment to the validity, reliability, and generalizability of conclusions made by leaders in the organization Develop milestones and timelines while managing mid-to-large scale improvements Set measurable targets to ensure progress and deliver increased net revenue goals based on a known timeline Conduct market research into emerging trends within the industry Ensure quality and efficient execution of analysis, ad-hoc requests and dissemination of findings based upon projected value to the company Take initiative to maintain up to date knowledge on current research publications and attend seminars on industry trends Support ad-hoc requests in order to provide answers to business questions Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position Perform other duties as assigned
