Description Robert Half Marketing & Creative is partnering with a respected nonprofit economic development organization in Chicago to find a talented Marketing & Copywriting Associate. You’ll work alongside leadership and program teams to help communicate the organization’s impact through compelling storytelling and clear, purpose-driven messaging. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments, and is passionate about community development, small business support, and creative content. Responsibilities + Write and edit content for multiple platforms including social media, email campaigns, blog posts, web pages, newsletters, and press releases + Develop branded collateral, pitch decks, and presentation materials for internal and external audiences + Assist with event marketing, community outreach efforts, and stakeholder engagement + Support campaign development and execution using HubSpot (or similar CRM) + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and message clarity + Use tools like Canva to design visuals and create polished marketing assets + Track performance metrics and apply basic SEO to increase digital visibility + Contribute to strategic marketing planning and team brainstorms Requirements + Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field + Strong writing and editing skills — writing portfolio is required + Excellent communication and organizational skills + Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Canva + Exposure to HubSpot or similar platforms is a plus + Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects + Comfortable working on-site in a team-oriented environment + Interest in economic development, small business, or nonprofit work is highly preferred Innovation starts with people.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
