They use team member feedback in creative ways to enhance our recognition programs and streamline the team member experience. + This role is directly responsible for the maintenance, execution and oversight of the Real American Hero Award, milestone programs and special recognition. **What you'll do** _As noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations._ + _Engage daily with our team members through correspondence to our recognition email account, and forward to stakeholders as needed_ + _Educate, counsel and address questions from team members on the Nonstop Thanks program_ + _Oversee the Spotlight program distribution and address questions from senior leaders on program_ + _Support the team on major events including Circle of Excellence, Fall Festival, Journey and American’s Centennial_ + _Code all recognition invoices for processing_ + Other duties as assigned **All you'll need for success** **Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience** + HS diploma or GED equivalency + 4 years of experience in the field or in related areas required **Skills, Licenses & Certifications** + Professional, positive, enthusiastic demeanor, which includes being flexible, proactive, confident, resourceful, and efficient + Exceptional attention to detail + Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office software (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new software + Must have excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines effectively, efficiently and independently + Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities + Sound judgment, self-directed, able to take initiative when appropriate + Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication and skills and the ability to interact with team members in a positive manner + Passion for influencing culture and making a positive difference for our team members + Public speaking skills and experience in presentation development **What you'll get** Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: + Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
