The University of Southern Maine’s Student Affairs Division seeks a Coordinator of Student Engagement and Belonging.

The Coordinator of Student Engagement and Belonging (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OcgTmEQPuq-0bKJpmHj0ZHnsliGeRMYB/view?usp=sharing) will develop and implement programs that focus on the social, educational, recreational, and wellness needs of students with a dedicated focus on inclusion and belonging initiatives. They will assist in facilitating co-curricular opportunities for students that include campus engagement events, leadership and developmental activities, conferences, etc. The Coordinator will work the Student Affairs division to foster a living and learning environment that is safe and inclusive for all students, including students from underrepresented backgrounds.
This is a full-time position with a starting annual salary of $45,000. This position can be located on the Portland or Gorham Campus, with expectation to provide service on all three campuses.

Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree and at least one (1) year of relevant experience including program development.
+ Demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of best practices in student engagement and fostering an inclusive and supportive environment within higher education.
