Elevate your career at our progressive clinic committed to excellence in patient care and therapist development Job Summary Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition and establishes a plan of care. Performs therapy programs utilizing standard therapy techniques as appropriate for the patient's age, functional impairments, abilities, needs, and desires. Documents delivery of Therapy services. Educates patients, family, caregivers, significant others, and staff members. Directs and supervises activities of Assistants and support personnel as indicated. Acts as coordinator for clinical education. Coordinates department functions. Provides leadership and resource support Qualifications Education Requires a bachelor's, masters or doctorate of Science in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist. Licensure/Certification/Registration/Professional Designation Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Examiners. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. APTA Clinical Instructor Certification required or must be completed within the first two years. Experience Required 2 years of clinical experience in acute orthopedic care. Prefer 5 years and board certification as a Clinical Orthopedic Specialist. Must demonstrate understanding of principles of evidence based practice. Work Shift Day Position Type Regular Full Time
