The Office of Diversity and Inclusion ODI provides expertise and leadership at the University of Maryland to guide and support the work of equity diversity compliance and inclusion The following units are within ODI ADA 504 Compliance Bias Incident Support Services Diversity Training and Education EEO Compliance and Search Equity LGBTQ Equity Center Nyumburu Cultural Center Office of Civil Rights and Sexual Misconduct Office of Multi ethnic Student Education OMSE and TerrapinSTRONG The Office of Civil Rights amp Sexual Misconduct OCRSM also reports to the Vice President for Diversity amp InclusionThe business function of the Vice President for Diversity amp Inclusion ensures compliance with the universitys policies and protocols across all business areas including fiscal and human resources managementThe Business Coordinator will manage personnel activities including but not limited to creating appointments in the designated systems creating payroll adjustmentstransactions for employees This position will serve as search coordinator and provide search guidance The Business Coordinator will route the posting to fill vacancies through the designated systems and provides guidance throughout the search and selection process and responds to requests The Business Coordinator will support all aspects of procurement and travel activities This position will report to the Director of Administrative Services
