The Financial Coordinator manages day to day procurement accounting and travel functions for the Lab ensuring that resources are well managed organized accurately reported and comply with federal and state regulations and University of Maryland policies and procedures Responsibilities include serving as the Labs point of contact for purchasing consulting contracts and research participant payments coordination Other responsibilities include performing reconciliations initiating corrective general ledger transactions coordinating inventory tasks providing financial reports and conducting data analysis The Financial Coordinator will interface with ARLIS business operations personnel Finance Project Management IT HR Security Comms as well as PIs and other researchers to conduct assigned duties As a member of the Finance Team the Financial Coordinator will assist with other finance related activities as needed
