Job Title: Shipping Coordinator Reports To: Operations Manager Position Location: Raleigh, NC FLSA Status (Exempt/Non-Exempt): Non-Exempt FLSA Status (ENon-Exemp Position Summary: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping Coordinator on-site to play a crucial role in supporting our order processes in connection with shipping goods and ensuring smooth operational workflows. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will be responsible for coordinating various activities in the order and shipping process to help contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations. This position may direct and coordinate the activities of other workers engaged in handling orders and goods to be shipped to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: + Manage day-to-day tasks, primarily order fulfillment processing, inventory management, and shipment coordination. + Complete required shipping documentation for proper delivery of domestic and foreign orders. + Performs national security requirements as needed in support of interactions with customers and performs end-use screening when necessary by asking for end user information. Verifies end use of product along with asking for ultimate destination for orders; asks customers for specific products being purchased or returned. + Responsible for supporting promise dates and intercompany ship dates across teams for improved process efficiencies and alignment with ERP setup. + Assists operations with ERP inventory adjustments as needed. + Responsible for PT study transition to QC products, this includes COA creation and ERP stock transitions. + Participates in projects and performs other duties and clerical functions as assigned. + Attends various vendor and technical training meetings to enhance system and product knowledge. + Process credit card orders as needed in support of customer satisfaction and process efficiencies. + Provides back-up to shipping department as needed. + Creates entries and maintains an electronic log of incoming and outgoing packages. + Performs other duties as assigned. Education: + High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience Experience: + 2 years related experience Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: + Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other time essential constraints. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization. + Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization. + Must possess the analytical skills to be able to understand and interpret customer prepared documents and understand customer requirements. + Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain constructive working relationship with both internal and external customers. + Must be comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment, where attitude and work ethic matter. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with inventory management tools. + Must possess a high sense of urgency to meet customer’s needs in a timely manner. + Must be organized and detail oriented to enter information into the system in a timely manner and accurately. Must be able to prioritize several tasks. + Ability to pay close attention to detail. This position has not been approved for Relocation Assistance.
