Position summary:
Familiar with publicly reported measures, Value Base Purchasing (VBP) Program and quality initiatives.
Facilitates hospital performance improvement (PI) activities; Responsible for collecting
reports/tracking/evaluating effectiveness, appropriateness of action plans and follow-up, which includes (but
not limited to) TJC and other external agencies, patient grievances, intensive assessments, departmental and
organizational PI reports. Promotes and monitors systems and processes designed to improve patient care
and outcomes. Supports hospital compliance with regulatory bodies (TJC, CMS, Title 22). Manages safety
event reviews by utilizing quality assessment and root cause analysis process. Assist with Hospital-Wide
Policy and procedure process. Assist with patient safety activities including organizational and departmental
projects. Participate and work collaboratively in various Committees and Task Forces to meet departmental /
organizational initiatives. May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
LICENSURE: Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE: Three years clinical experience in Acute Care; Proficiency with computer programs such as
(electronic health record, Excel program, data analysis and report creation); Positive interpersonal,
communication and
presentation skill; Ability to work collaboratively with medical staff, hospital Associates and
external providers.
Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare Accreditation Certification Program (HACP); Certified Professional in Healthcare
Quality (CPHQ)

Salary range; $53.40 - $75.15 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
