Job Summary:
Seeking a Coordinator to manage and execute logistical, project and event operations support while exercising a high level of professionalism, discretion, attention to detail and responsiveness.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate operations and logistics for MLB events (e.g., World Tour, All-Star Week, Winter Meetings, Little League Classic, Postseason, etc.), including event tracking, prospective event database, and post-event surveying Develop and coordinate the Event planning session meeting structure and schedule for major events Create and manage department event operations previews (Event 101, Know Before You Go, etc.) and recaps Oversee and manage process for department Drive (internal and external) and recording-keeping across the core areas of information sharing Create and edit event vision material into internal and external communications, including front-facing PowerPoint presentations and other correspondences. Research and offer other support on Events department projects across Operational verticals as needed Assist in coordination of shipping and receiving process for events Perform related duties as requiredQualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two years of office or events administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Prior experience in events or logistics preferred Excellent organization, communication, writing and multi-tasking skills Demonstrated time management skills including the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong problem solving and decision-making skills Excellent and professional interpersonal skills; team-oriented demeanor Excellent computer aptitude and advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Google Drive, CAD, Concur, and willingness to learn company programs and electronic business tools. Ability to perform duties while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality Available to work overtimePay Rate: $24 per hour
