Coordinator, Games & Emerging Media

  

 

 

Do you love video games? The Games & Emerging Media team at Paramount Global is seeking an individual to join our group as a Coordinator. This is an exciting and fast-growing division of the company responsible for the global games business and emerging media initiatives across Paramount’s brands including Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, MTV Entertainment, Star Trek, CBS and many others!

Reporting to the SVP, Games & Emerging Media, the Coordinator is a vital member of the team working across business development and other team functions to support overall revenue growth for the games group.

 

Responsibilities: Manage day to day workflow for Games business development team including tracking of open deals, partner communication, deal input into Salesforce and Wrike and coordination with business and legal affairs and finance. Support specific categories with clear revenue targets including integrations, virtual worlds & others as determined by SVP. Manage external pitch process through creation of RFPs on all game genres and IP. Proactively generate ideas for new games and integrations, with a focus on revenue generating opportunities. Evaluate proposals from partners, working across multiple business models including licensing, co-funding, and self-publishing. Support slate planning process and roadmap formation, using external and internal data and knowledge of the games industry to inform the greenlight process. Work collaboratively with Business Development, Creative, Production & Marketing teams to support business goals. Scheduling and calendar management for group SVP including the coordination of complex meetings with multiple participants and locations. Manage multiple projects and drive each forward, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams and external partners.

 

Basic Qualifications: 1+ years of experience (Strong internship experience considered). Bachelor's Degree.

 

Additional Qualifications: Experience in the games industry, with a proven track record of success in challenging markets across all categories is a plus. Superior communication skills with finely tuned ability to work within cross-functional teams. Strong ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Strategic thinker who can also execute with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional project management and presentation skills. Interest in and passion for gaming!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 - 60,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
