JOB DESCRIPTION

The Big Money Show on Fox Business is looking for an experienced Coordinating Producer to join the team. The Big Money Show is a 1-hour, fast-paced show that features policymakers, business leaders, economists, and Wall St CEOs as high-energy mainstream newsmakers. The market and breaking news are nonstop, so we are looking for a collaborative team player, quick thinker, strong writer, and creative idea-maker with solid editorial and leadership skills.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Be a leader, especially in the control room, including but not limited to working with on-air talent, reporters and guests in the field, and the director to ensure the program runs as smoothly as possible

Manage production and serve as a key person between talent and staff

Communicate daily story development to the executive producer

Help book guest segments/studios

Provide solid news judgment, especially during breaking news

Help plan daily and future editorial content for the show

Assist in the management and development of staff from Production Assistants to Bookers to Producers, including overseeing and rewriting copy, graphics and the cutting of vo/sots, packages

Coordinate guests, field crews, shoots, and staffing

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

A Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

5+ years of proven live newsroom experience, including management of control room and line/segment producers, for television newscast

Knowledge and passion for current events, particularly financial and political news

Exceptional editorial skills

Ability to work under pressure, be decisive, detail-oriented, and meet deadlines

Demonstrated ability/track record of being highly motivated and getting things done in a high-stress environment.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $95,000.00-124,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
