Coordinate safety, health, and environmental activities.

Establish relationships with municipal, state, and federal government agencies in the management of procedures.

Implement and follow up on the requirements of the SGSST and EMS and the legal requirements applicable to our plant regarding environmental matters; as well as address environmental incidents where necessary, ensuring that environmental noncompliance with regulatory and legislative requirements is investigated and corrected.

Responsible for attending all regulatory visits regarding safety, health, and the environment, including the preparation and submission of legal documentation required by government agencies.

Review current safety, health, and environmental legislation to ensure compliance, as well as the core corporate safety, health, and environmental requirements that all plants must meet.

Inform staff about the progress and needs of the SGSST and EMS, as well as the AEO.

Schedule, develop, and follow up on corrective actions for SGSST and EMS audits, as well as the AEO.

Actively participate in the safety and health committee and follow up on its observations.

Manage the company's hazardous and non-hazardous waste management and disposal program.

This position also reports the monthly performance indicator report to the corporate safety, health, and environmental offices.

Participate in training programs associated with the EHS area and promote a culture of safety.

Follow up on the annual training plan for the EHS department.

Follow-up on the completion of corrective actions resulting from both external and internal audits associated with the safety, health, and environmental management systems.

Plan and manage the company's hygiene program, which includes: risk communication, chemical management, x-rays, noise monitoring of the workplace, lighting, chemicals in the environment, and MSDS management.

Plan and maintain the operational control program for atmospheric emissions (monitoring and updating the inventory of fixed sources, preparing state and federal COAs).

Organize emergency teams and plan drills as needed.

Plan and maintain the company's water control program (potable and wastewater analysis), submit reports to CONAGUA (National Water Commission), and ensure the operation and control of the treatment plant. 18.

Comply with applicable legal, corporate, and divisional safety requirements.

Participate in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and illnesses that occur at the plant.

Ensure that contractors working within the company comply with the EHS policy, as well as with the safety procedures and the SGSST and EMS, as well as the AEO, applicable to them when working at the plant.

Develop staff under their supervision.

The EHS (Environment, Safety, and Health) coordinator is responsible for having an emergency plan, which includes hazards and risks, as well as the environmental aspects required for its management.

Participate in training programs on safety and hygiene procedures, and promote a culture of safety.

Ensure that the requirements of the environmental, health, and safety management system regarding operational control are established, implemented, and maintained.

Attend to and communicate with internal and external audits of the environmental, health, and safety management system.

Implement corrective actions (as applicable) to address nonconformities and findings resulting from audits.

Comply with legal and other EHS requirements.
