Job Summary

Prepares all food items for room service, patients, cafeteria, special functions and Doctor’s Lounge. Makes recommendations to Executive Chef for all menus. Meets standards established by Executive Chef for food preparation, quality, sanitation, and efficiency.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 11:30am-5:30pm with a day off per week.  Every third wknd/hol; 48hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$18.25 - $22.25 per hour
