We would love to have you on our team! **Position Highlights** **SUMMARY:** Responsible for the preparation of meals for patients, employees and residents at Osceola Regional Health Center and Osceola Senior Living, along with related dietary duties of maintaining appropriate levels of cleanliness and organization while following federal, state, Osceola Regional Health Center and Osceola Senior Living safety and sanitation guidelines. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:** High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. **CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:** This position requires a valid driver’s license and must carry their own automobile liability insurance. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** Prepares meals according to assigned menus and therapeutic diets. Follows protocol for proper serving; temperature adherence, gloving, handwashing and all other food safety guidelines. Performs all responsibilities to ensure that a positive and professional image is presented to all customers including patients, residents, families, physicians, visitors and fellow employees. Participates in quality assurance that includes record keeping, temperature checks, recipe adherence, proper food storage, and labeling. Stores and rotates supplies as needed. Ability to maintain the dish room schedule and necessary mealtime schedules. Prepares patient trays, checks for accuracy, and ensures timely delivery to patients and residents. Cleans and sanitizes storage areas, refrigerators, ovens, walls, and floors. Disposes of trash on a regular basis.
