The Cook is responsible for safely preparing food items, following menu specifications and standard recipes.

Organizational Levels Cook I- is the entry-level skilled trade job in this series Cook II- proficient in executing all stations on the line, cross-trained to ServSafe certified Cook III- proficient in prior levels plus cross-trained to outside Completed Leadership Training class. Specific Duties And Responsibilities Common To All Levels In Series Ability to operate kitchen equipment including slicer, steamer, deep fryer, ovens, broiler, grill, mixer, kettle, and Requires reading and math skill for recipes and Ability to read, write, speak and understand recipes and communicate with other Team Responsible for cleaning kitchen work areas and equipment as well as sweeping and mopping Actively participates with staff to cook, prepare, dish-up and assemble all menu Adheres to control procedure for food costs and To encourage and abide by all health codes and hand washing Prepares all food items according to standard recipes and menu to ensure consistency of product to the Other duties as Standards Of Performance Abilities demonstrated in handling the banquets and food outlet Be in constant communication with BOH Team Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all Excellent Oral and written communication Ability to work in fast-paced Education, Tr AI Ning, And Experience High School Diploma or GED One-year minimum experience in food preparation and food knowledge is preferred. Ability to work both front and back line Must be able to complete any classes or certifications Ability to obtain a valid Racing License Racing
