Controls Engineering at Lennox leads innovative product development, with its array of new products in the recent years and has been an integral part of the product development and research team. System verification has been the core of controls engineering in maintaining the quality of release of all the New and Maintenance firmware release cycles.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Work closely with all constituents involved in product development & release activity including development, testing, program management and other entities to ensure execution & deliverables per plan.Design and develop test framework for testing embedded controls.Generation of optimized test plans, ensuring 100% traceability & coverage of requirements to test design and test scripts.Effective requirements analysis, test case design, scripting and test execution.Development of test strategies for communicating embedded controls.Analyze and debug issues found during testing and production.Assist in creating and/or tracking Test plans, test schedules and bugs.Actively investigate and study relevant technology and customer trends to anticipate and apply customer and technical needs for the Controls technology platform.

QualificationsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Education Requirements:
BS/MS in Electrical, Electronics or Computer engineering.Embedded/Mobile Testing certifications preferred.Technical Skills:
8+ years of professional experience in testing.Experience in collaborating with multi-site teams, leading execution of testing projects across multiple continents. Note: this is a technical role that also includes project management activities.Proficiency in Embedded firmware testing and iOS and Android Mobile Testing is required. Experience with scripting languages like PERL, Python.Firmware and mobile development experience is preferred.Experience in test automation tools. Should have hands-on test automation experience interfacing Control I/Os to automation and measurement tools. Knowledge of Requirements Management, Configuration Management concepts source code version control, bug tracking and traceability.Strong understanding of test design, test development processes and related tools. Working knowledge of developing white box and black box tests.Experience in developing and/or testing applications using RESTFull and SOAP web service architectures is an advantage.System verification of embedded products with graphical user interface and hardware I/O’s.Experience with HVAC domain, Software Engineering concepts, Quality processes and tools preferred. Experience in LabVIEW RT & FPGA is a plus.Teaming/Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent collaboration and teaming skills.Ability to solve problems independently.Ability to conduct effective technical reviews and guide team members through their challenges.Flexibility to travel locally and internationally.
