Position Summary 

Supports development specifications, reading/reviewing device layout drawings, control schematics, and utilizing Programmable Logic Controls ladder logic to provide solutions to client issues. Works closely with the overall customer support and project teams to help solve complex issues

Responsibilities Reviews customer specifications and scope documentation to assist in troubleshootingReviews system layouts, schematics and control devices to become familiar with client installsDocuments and creates Knowledge Base articles to assist the customer support team and clients resolve issuesEngages in active projects to contribute to future support contractsProvides documentation and support to clients as requiredTroubleshoots programmable logic controls programsOccasionally assists with on-site commissioning to implement and validate the system designTravel up to 30% Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical or controls engineering or related technical field or equivalent experienceMinimum 4 years of experience with controls supportExperience with industrial HMI and SCADA systems required; experience with Allen-Bradley controls/controllers, Siemens, Omron and Schneider PLCs a plusKnowledge of AutoCADStrong interest in industrial automationSelf-motivated and detail-orientedExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to multi-taskCreative-thinking and problem-solving skills
