Job Title: Controls Engineer III
Location: On-Site (301 Jackson Street Columbus IN 4720)
Schedule: Full-Time, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
Pay Rate: $42/h
We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to lead industrial automation and Industry 4.0 projects, integrating advanced systems and solving complex challenges in manufacturing environments. IIOT communication protocols and standards are a must!
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5-6 years in IIOT communication protocols and standards; IIoT systems; Power BI, AI and/or ML; and IOT integrations. Skills: Proficiency in industrial protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Ethernet/IP). Expertise in programming machine controllers (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff). Strong troubleshooting, networking, and project management skills.Responsibilities:
Integrate and program machine controllers, robots (Cobots, IMRs, AGVs), and tools with IIoT platforms. Configure and secure industrial networks, including IP settings and VLANs. Lead Industry 4.0 initiatives and implement data analytics tools (Power BI, AI/ML). Troubleshoot and resolve communication issues between PLCs, machines, and IIoT systems. Manage IIoT projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery.Why Join Us?
