Controls Engineer II

Stark Tech is looking for a Controls Engineer II in Tonawanda, NY. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of industrial controls systems for RNG plants and related skid systems utilizing PLC's, SCADA and HMI software to meet project and customer requirements. Familiarity with controls, electrical power systems, field devices, operations, network configurations, and industrial communications protocols are required. \n

What would we like to see?\n\nBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field required. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.\n5+ years related experience in control system design and related hardware specification and selection.\nExperience with Rockwell and\/or other similar PLC platforms.\nExperience with Human Machine Interface (HMI) and\/or SCADA systems\nAutoCad Electrical knowledge helpful\nGeneral knowledge of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors and motors.\nExperience with AC\/DC electrical systems and components such as VFD's, power supplies, relay logic, etc.\nExperience leading troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of automated machine systems, components, and electrical devices.\nDetailed knowledge of NEC (National Electric Code) and other international electrical codes such as IEC and CSA.\nAbility to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, suppliers, and internal team on a regular basis, both verbally and in writing.\nMust be good at multi-tasking and running multiple projects in different stages of completion at once.\nHigh organizational skills are required to maintain and track all project correspondence and documentation.\nAbility to adapt and be flexible in a changing environment.\n\n
